THANKSGIVING FOR ALL
SPONSORED BY ST. VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY
The St. Vincent de Paul Society needs your help to provide Thanksgiving dinners for families in our area who are unable to purchase the items needed for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. We give instant mashed potatoes, stuffing mix, gravy mix, canned yams and canned vegetables such as green beans or corn. We include a small box of biscuit mix, fruit cocktail, cranberry sauce and a dessert (brownie or cake mix). We also give a Publix gift card for the purchase of perishable food items. Food donations may be placed in the receptacles provided in the church. Monetary contributions, labeled "SVDP Thanksgiving" may be placed in the collection boxes. To receive a Thanksgiving dinner, call 857-5818 Monday through Thursday from 1:00 to 3:00pm. All calls are confidential. ***Distribution is on November 22 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at St. Vincent de Paul.***

GIVING TREE PROGRAM!!
Our Giving Tree program has been revamped. Food will continue to be provided by our St. Vincent de Paul Society and the gift program will be handled by parish volunteers. We give as a sign of our love; be it family, friends or those less fortunate. One way to give freely is to participate in our Giving Tree program, whether by donating food to our St. Vincent de Paul Society or by purchasing gifts. There will be a limited number of gift tags available. ONLY FAMILY SPECIFIC GIFT TAGS will be available on the Christmas Tree located in the narthex of the church the weekend of November 15/16 and November 22/23. Please take the gift tag, purchase the specific gift item and attach the tag to the unwrapped gift. In order to be sure we collect gifts for the registered families, please return your purchases either to the church or the parish office no later than 3:00pm Monday, December 1. St. Vincent de Paul will need the following food items: canned sweet potatoes, instant mashed potatoes, canned vegetables, cranberry sauce, stuffing and gravy. They will give out certificates with the baskets for a turkey or ham. Monetary donations can be made to them to offset the cost of bread and meat certificates.
Giving Tree Registrations take place Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday November 4 through November 20 from 9:00am to 12:00pm in the parish center. ***No Registrations on November 11 due to office being closed for Veterans Day.***
The Parish office and facilities (with the exception of Daily Mass) will be closed on Tuesday, November 11 in observance of Veteran's Day. We will reopen on Wednesday, November 12 at 8:00am.
