St. Michael the Archangel is proud to welcome award winning author
Denise Mercado on Wednesday, January 28 in room 3 of the parish center at 10:00am.
Denise Mercado is an award-winning author, blogger. solo traveler, widow, mother, grandmother, active member of St. Luke the Evangelist in Palm Harbor and an Associate with the Sisters of Notre Dame. In addition, three of her books received the Nihil Obstat from the Diocese of St. Petersburg. Her books include: Mary's Life Journey and Her Amazing Yes; The Way of Light:The Story Behind the Stations of the Resurrection; and The Stations of the Eucharist, with a foreword by Bishop Gregory Parkes.
The Knights of Columbus are hosting their annual Barn Dance on Saturday, January 31, 2026 from 5:00 to 10:00pm in the parish center.
Doors open at 5:00pm and dinner will be served beginning at 6:00pm.
Tickets are $20.00 per person and can be purchased in the parish office during normal business hours.
Dinner is pulled pork with sides and desserts. Entertainment provided by Pfister-Pitts.

Understanding the Catechism
Monday Evenings
6:00 PM to 7:00 PM
The Catechism of the Catholic Church contains a summary of the teachings of the Church which Catholics are obligated to believe and practice. On Monday evenings, Father Jim will teach the contents of the Catechism so that the faithful will have a better understanding of the Catholic faith. All are welcome to attend these classes in Room 3 of the Parish Center. Please note: there will be a limited number of Catechisms provided for class use; therefore, if you have your own Catechism book, you might want to bring it with you.
